Property Distribution

Marital property, with a few exceptions, is defined as property acquired during a marriage. In Pennsylvania, when a divorce occurs, marital property is divided based on the principle of equitable property distribution.  This means that property will be divided fairly but not necessarily equally.  The division is based on a variety of factors.  Our attorneys will carefully review with you all factors that come into play and guide you through the process to achieve the most desirable outcome.

We are knowledgeable on the most current laws governing divorce and recognize that every situation is unique.  We have over 20 years of experience in handling the most complex property distribution cases in all counties of Western Pennsylvania (i.e., Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, Westmoreland Counties.).  We will work tirelessly to provide you with a cost and time efficient resolution.

You will go to any length to preserve your relationship with your children and ensure that they are happy. If that means fighting for your rights during your divorce or custody dispute, then that is what you will do.  We are compassionate family law attorneys committed to the highest quality of legal services through experience, integrity, and teamwork.  Our attorneys have a successful track record of handling a wide range of divorce and family law matters.
